Sunsphere Events is a premier event venue located in the heart of Downtown Knoxville. Our team of corporate and wedding dream creators , Donna, Danny and Misty, is proud to have over 30 years of collective experience in the hospitality and event industry.
We are continually learning forward, improving and evolving our small part of the East Tennessee industry. While each team member has their own specific talents and passions, collectively we curate elevated experiences that continually exceeds our clients’ expectations.
The Sunsphere Events team is smaller than some ; :but full of talent, passion and experience.
Meet Donna Little, owner and always smiling face of Sunsphere Events. Donna is generally the first interaction clients have with Sunsphere Events.
With over a decade in the hospitality industry, she has always had a passion for serving the community through creative events and memorable experiences.
Her business relationships with the areas most reputable event professionals , allows her to offer her clients an elevated East Tennessee event.
Her continued commitment to best serve her clients , keeps Donna studying all the most current and trending recourses and additions to the event venue world.
In her free time, Donna enjoys helping her husband with his catering business, Rosa's Catering , spending time with her family and friends and relaxing on the family boat.
After the clients initial inquiry , the next step to book Knoxville's most ICONIC EVENT VENUE , connects clients with Project Coordinator , Misty Cooper.
With more than 20 years in the event industry , she is well versed and experienced in most types of events, ranging from meticulously organized corporate events to the most elaborate wedding celebrations.
When not working through projects or onsite for events,, she is chasing her first passion of advertising and marketing as Sunsphere Events Marketing Manager and Social Content Manager .
During her personal time, Misty enjoys time with her family, relaxing in the hammock and watching sunsets from her back porch.
Once your event details are in place , Operations and Logistics Manager , Danny Little will step in to ensure your event is set up properly.
Danny is a US Veteran , long time married husband , "the fun" uncle and the logistical mind behind all of Sunsphere Events designs.
His years of experience in the industry , ensures all events are set for ease of flow and efficiency of layout , while paying close attention to the events specific esthetics . He works hard to ensure all of our clients have a successful and enjoyable event.
After recently settling into his forever home, most sunny days away from the venue , Danny can be found on his front porch, soaking in the sun with a cool drink in hand , enjoying time with his family and fur babies .
